you can surf on google maps from your phone and the maps that you have navigated before are stored at memory, and when you need to navigate again(now offline, not connected on network)the google maps works at offline mode and you can navigate throw these regions and with gps on.

Even though the specification says 256Mb of ram, My phone shows only 130mb ram available. out of which only 60 mb is free to use :( is it normal?

Hi, can you use this phone without a SIM card?
E.g. with wifi, for skype, web, navigation etc?
Can you use it for offline navigation? I.e. when you download all the maps in advance and do not have to rely on a network being always available?

It support arabic language and video chatting with yahoo,skype,viber & much more but with rear camera bs. No front camera in this model.

I can tell you all for one thing. This phone is an awesome phone at the price you pay for. Even more it delivers the performance package as some higher end models of Samsung or HTC. The battery life is one of the best in its class. Browing speed is equally satisfying but I feel this phone should come in 1GB at least as compared to the current 160MB. Some apps cannot be transfered to SD as it is rooted. To be honest the camera is not that bad just that it does not have a AWB built in and so when you take in dark scenes you may need to adjust it to daylight. So far I have compared U8650 Sonic to my Samsung Galaxy Wonder and my Galaxy Wonder hang on me till the mother board crashed just within 4 weeks of use. My U8650??? Well it is my best bet so far
