It might not have the radio app... but it's definitely got the radio hardware! Look for the radio app online! Better yet... Get ICS for Huawei (Works perfectly on this phone!) at google code... It comes bundles with it...

you have to excuse my ignorance but i have to ask...how can you get the radio with just a software update? i thought you need the hardware? or was the hardware present and it just needed unlocking????...we are talking about the huawei u8800 x5 right?that comes with stock froyo??

Dear Sir,
My name is Chan. I'm from Myanmar Country. I bought huawei u8800 in last Oct 2011. As soon after 2 month later , my phone lock & power button is not good to use. when i open the lock , power button is not effect in one time. Phone lock open when i press 5/6 time power button. That phone is so expensive when i buy (Myanmar Kyat 185,000/-), that price is so expensive for me, but I think your product is high quality & satisfaction for me. But now my thinking is so wrong. Finally , i want to suggestion for you , you should check & best do for Quality Control.
