Task killer are good if you have un-necessary process running. But even after ROM recovery and no apps installed its battery still dies very fast. Really bad backup in my experience.

You should NOT use task killers in android system.
If your battery is dying too fast you should calibrate ir by reseting the battery stats. You can do this using a custom recovery or using an app i.e. Batery Calibration does the trick. My batery lasts more than 40 hours with heavy usage...
It' s by far the best phone I ever had and with the custom roms available out there you can score 3500 in Antutu with CPU @ 1,2Ghz, more than enough to run the android software or games with remarkable performance. More than other phones I had like Samsungs and SEs. No doubt the best single core available!

Doesnt support bluetooth 3 (only 2.1). To understand how big of a difference this makes a file of 2gb will take several hours under BT2.1 while BT 3 does that in seconds. Bt 3 is 1200% faster and consumes less power.

Even if the phone has some good specs it isnt enjoyable before you put in a nice custom rom and clock the cpu for about 200mhz.

Definitely go for Samsung galaxy ace. I have samsung computer, tv and mobile and their service ROCKS. Huwaei is very unreliable when it comes to service. When my touchscren became too irresponsive to work I sent to repair and they took 14 days to repair. No replacement mobile was provided. Touch is still irresponsive. To make a long story short on paper U8800 is somewhat ahead of Galaxy Ace but in real life use its tacky touchscreen and slowdowns will make you understand. Well they made me understand. :(

nishanthzx14, 27 Aug 2011i am planning to buy 1...cant decide b/w "X5" and... moreI think ideos X5 is much better than Samsung Ace, in areas like ACE is having 256 MB, whereas X5 is having 512. Ace is with Adreno 200 but X5 is with Adreno 205, which is very significant differnece for palying 3D games. Aslo, X5 is having a very good battery, 1500mA, which is rare even for 20K+ phones. Overall, X5 is way ahead of Samsung Ace and I think with Android 2.3 upgrade, it will be awesome.

Screen doesnt properly responds to touch and it releases pinch causing trouble. If you are dragging thing then it will stop detecting touch halfway through causing stuff to be moved to wrong folder.
