i did an unofficial update to my phne to ics 4.0.3 at frst it worked really well but now its lags alot and restarts itself , any suggestion how to fix it ? how to fix it ?

the os 2.3 is can be officially upgradeable to ics.
the gpu- it has adreno 205 gpu. which is best for hardcore gaming like nfs most wanted & etc.{tested}
1.7 gb user accessible internal memory.
and approx ~800 mb for applications.
nice design and durability
output of phone speaker is not too loud or not too slow its just good.
at last but not the least - the device has listed in xda-developers and has active community.
WHERE YOU CAN MOD OR DEVELOPE DEVICE OS,
so if you tech genius and want to DO more with your device, go there.
i AM personally running 4.2 in my device.
WITH SUPERB SOUND QUALITY AND MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE

this phone never cut off during calls... it rarely lags too in fact... camera is average....
music is good..... internet great.... make calls easily,,,,
though advice to u all is to put a screen protector on it as it will give u problem when texting or touching the screen for any purposes as the humidity on your finger tends to stay on the screen and can make u think that the phone is lagging....

Huawei U8800 pro doesnt get ICS update from Manufacturer, i had checked with Huawie service and they confirmed that only unofficial version is available for this device.

Purchased this phone in bangalore, for it's competitive price. And repenting since.
Android is great, but phone is terrible.
Since the time i bought, unable to talk to anyone for over a minute. Calls gets cut every few seconds. It's not problem with network, but with phone.
I put the sim in my other phone (nokia C7) and call works just fine.
Now I know why we should stick to brand (anyone, like nokia, samsung LG…)
Don't get lured by it's price. You'll repent when you can't use it to make calls.

Just choose "smartphones" and than U8800 pro.
Please note that the last release of ICS (b928) has some bugs. Thats why it's "unofficial".
