I'm very happy with the Huawei Watch 2. Does everything it says it does. Nice and light. Great battery life. Looks great. Couldn't justify the classic, as the difference wasn't enough. I bought a third party black metal watch band and went with that. Heart rate monitor is accurate enough for my purposes.

That watch only has a screen area of about 1.13 sq Inches, where a 5" phone would be 10.68 sq Inches. That means when submerged you have 10x as much pressure that's going to press inward and warp the shell of the phone to create gaps and start leaking.

Anonymous, 21 Mar 2017I don't know WHY they keep bringing out watches with NO IMP... morebasically they don't want to add alot of improvements because if they ran out of them there will be no reason for customers to get their products. so minor improvements is the answer.
all electronics manufacturers do the same.
its us who buy in for minor upgrades who are responsible for this mess. if we didn't get a new product because no major improvements are made then they will learn the lesson.

I don't know WHY they keep bringing out watches with NO IMPROVEMENTS over previous or competitors watches. Nothing NEW here whatsoever?! Why even waste your time. You need to make "leapfrog" enhancements, not make the same thing over and over. It's just stupid!

I hope that the battery provides for at least 2 days usage between charges. I preferred the classic style of watch 1 but I will go for the watch 2 if it provides a significant improvement in performance.
