GT runner is currently going for app. 130Euro here in Denmark.
It is waterproof, has QI wireless charging, is extremely lightweight and pleasant to wear, 10 - 12 days battery life and the same sensors as everybody else. It does not have any pay method (which I never use anyway).

I don't understand why this watch is more expensive than the watch GT 3, all the hardware is same (GT3 even has thermometer, this one doesn't), so can anyone can tell me, except the design, what are the differences between this watch & GT 3, if the difference is just software, can I flash my GT 3 to make it become GT runner?

The GT runner's data screens in a run decreased in size after a new update, its much harder to see my time during a run now

The GT Runner is not worth the surcharge. Currently (HarmonyOS 2.1.0.219) no footpod support, no running power meter support, no general HR chest strap support. Heart rate sampling is still 5 seconds - unusable. A-GPS support is crappy. Huawei Health track export feature does not yet include heart rate data (neither iOS nor Android).
The GNSS track wasn’t convincing either, compared to my Garmin FR745.

Compare i... moreThe only thing that is almost true in comparing these two devices is the price difference between gt2e and gt runner. It's not 3x, it's 2.8x but ok, almost. And I can say that is big price difference, little to much. Everything else you need to except and realize. First, it's hard to compare because gt runner is watch specialy made for runners, and everything is about that, with some normal smart watch features. But here is the deal: gt ruuner is lighter than gt2e, have polymer fiber material, and very stylish look for runners watch. Gt runner have much more accurate GPS than GT2e, due to 5 satelite system, and bigger antena. GT runner have new and accurate HR sensor. Gt runner have external sensor support(speed/cadence, HRstrap, footpod...), GT2e doesn't. Gt runner is more customizable for running, have much more stats for runners needs(predicted times,running coach, more programs, ability index..). Gt runner have microphone, GT2e doesn't. GT runner have better batery, not by much, but it's better. Also, much newer and better watchfaces is available for GT runner than GT2e. At the and, GT runner is new device, and as always, prices are high at start.
For me, as a runner, price difference is reasonable. Maybe a little to much, but it's ok. Everyone have their favorite watch and favorite specs. But it isn't nice of you to citicize without real facts. Ok, the watch is not for you, and you think is expensive, but you need to be realistic.
