yalim, 19 Nov 2021this watch is dead due to €300 price. it must be below €230... moreHR sensor on the GT Runner and the GT3 are found to be among the most accurate on the market now. Battery life is superior and among the best on the market. The Runner edition is extremely light (~38.5 g) due to the light polymer fibers used to make its case. It's an excellent choice for runners.

Anonymous, 21 Jan 2022You must have faulty device. I'm an amateur runner and... moreThe problem with the Huawei watches is that good hardware meets software with deficiencies. On the GT2 family you got interpolated (obviously fake) GNSS track, you got heart rate data with 5s sample rate. There is no external sensor support (e.g. HR chest strap, footpod, speed/cadence sensor, power meter, etc.), there is no web portal. I wouldn’t call it top notch running and fitness analytics.
I hope GT3 and GT Runner will be different, based on their thick price tag. For that amount of money you can easily buy a mid range Coros/Suunto/Polar/Wahoo/Garmin watch.

tsaic, 19 Nov 2021From my personal experience, hawing Huawei Watch GT2 Pro, I... moreYou must have faulty device. I'm an amateur runner and have the same watch for 9 months, no problem whatsoever, battery is simply great especially having in mind AMOLED screen. GT2 Pro is with titanium case, sapphire glass and ceramic back. You can buy new one for 200€, and how much is cheapest Garmin with such materials? A small fortune I guess.
Also GT2 Pro uses First Beat algorithms. Garmin uses the same, as a matter of fact Garmin bought First Beat recently, so GT2 Pro has top notch running and fitness analytics.
All in all I'm very happy Huawei watch user and am looking forward to see how GT Runner is preforming.

What is this a joke, 01 Dec 2021So I bought GT 2e, last year - for like 100 EUR. Compare i... moreI can see there are 5 major differences: Heart rate, GPS, NFC, Size/Resolution, Weight. The heart rate has eight photodiodes (compared to The crappy apple watch series 6 only has 4 photodiodes). The material is made of special durable polymer-fibre for light weight. Check it again mate. Note, it's made for running. GPS/Heart rate/weight are the critical components that we need.

So I bought GT 2e, last year - for like 100 EUR. Compare it to this side by side - I can find absolutely no reason this GT RUNNER costs 3x as much. It even has a plastic frame LOL!. Unbelievable - who is gonna buy this? Huawei lost their mind and think they can become the next apple in prices and sheep buying their stuff. Ridiculous. I already decided not to buy their phones anymore - not to their fault, but no official google support. And the same goes with their other hardware. After this watch dies - I am buying something else that's for sure

I brought the GT2 smart watch at £120 and what they don't tell you is that the so called metal that is directly at the back of the watch which measures everything for the watch is made out of Nickel....in which I was allergic to and gave me a very red sore and then blisters. They need to state what the whole watch is made from as I'm not the only one this has happened too I'm sure! They didn't want to know when I complained. Shocking!!!!!!

From my personal experience, hawing Huawei Watch GT2 Pro, I'm completely disappointed as the watch, after four months of regular use in not extreme conditions, mostly for running purposes, as well as walking, started working badly - battery last just one or two days, instead of two weeks. I have sent the watch to a local official service centre in Croatia, they sent me the watch back with the explanation that I have to send it to another service centre, which is not in the country I live (Croatia) - without any reasonable explanation. I did not want to do that, for a couple of reasons, mostly I was so disappointed that I absolutely don't want to wear the Huawei watch anymore. I switch to Garmin and so far I enjoy my watch so much!
Customer service really makes difference in my opinion. Therefore, I deeply believe that Huawei Watch GT Runner cost an arm and a leg. Garmin is like a space shuttle compared to Huawei considering watches for runners.
Goodbye Huawei watches and good luck!

this watch is dead due to €300 price. it must be below €230. garmin is the absolute champ in sportwatch territory. so,huawei must give more for less to compete. HR sensor must work accurately on a sweaty skin even under rain. distance calculation must be accurate with combined GPS and elevation. battery life must be 6-8 days with AOD on, 12hrs of continuous GPS or 6hrs of GPS&music. it must support spotify, youtube music for offline music. it must also support an NFC payment system avaliable in 15-20 countries. it must work with android and ios smartphones. AMOLED is not the right choice for AOD endurance expectations.
