Camera is increadebly SLOW. Slow phone but the but you can use it if you newer use your camera. Battery life is excellent and build quality is good.

Worst phone ever used. So disappointed in my purchase the specs seemed alright but doesn't preform. Apps crashing keyboard won't stay open. Not receiving any notifications until hours after if at all. Can't stay connected to wifi or Bluetooth. I just downloaded the nova launcher it seems to be working better the picture is noticeably better. Seems to be running smoother. All that being said this is my first huawei and I will never buy another.
As for you people talking about what would you expect with such a cheap phone my first smart phone was a Samsung in 2016 and it worked better than this one and was almost the exact same price if not cheaper.

After 1 month of usage, it started lagging in opening browser, youtubing, watching videos, playing games, using social media and even using its default keyboard. And now it's been 5 months since I have bought it and I'm facing same problems I have had earlier. I have reset it three times to see if it performs better but it still sucks.
The good thing about it is its interface, some extra features like screen recording, pinch to zoom out to small screen and some other accessibility functions.
It is just nothing performance wise, I mean it bugs on every click even in typing this, I don't know how many times I had to swipe up the keyboard, it gets down automatically. It just let me down.

I have replaced my Nokia Microsoft 2010 with the Huawei Y6. I didn't have any problems with the 2010 running Windows 10 and the only reason I changed it was the ending of the Microsoft Apps store. Yes the Y6 is a little slow and takes a bit of getting used to, but all in all I am quite happy with it. I have an O2 contract and the Y6 is costing me £5 a month x 24 months I think thats a pretty good deal. PS I have never had an iphone as I believe that Apple are a con.

Click many times on the tab "Build number" and notif about 'developer something' would show up then back to 'System' pane, you would see a "Developer options" tab, click on that. That'd direct you to the many other tabs in it, scroll down to "Drawing" tab and you can see 'Window, Transition, Animator' scales then you can change it to .5x for each.
After that, go to "Apps" tab, click 'Background process limit' then change that to 'At most 4 processes'.
Hope that works on your phone...

Hi! my Huawei y6 just arrived earlier today... But every time I lock it using the power button then the screen turns off, maybe after 15 seconds the phone restart on it's own.. can someone help me with this? Please... I need your help... Thanks...

I have been using Y6 18 for five months (more or less)..It's kinda okay though after getting the update having Sept. patch!

I had to return it. It's freaking slow even after updates. There's something deeply wrong with the hardware/firmware. The screen was pretty cool though, I'm Thad.

I got this phone I never experience any problem. suggestion try to download nova launcher into the phone. since I download it I never got any problem. I never try to update even there is an update required. over all im satisfied with the phone
