Huawei Y9 2019 to launch in India on January 7

Yesterday, we reported that Amazon had set up a teaser page for the Huawei Y9 2019. The page had a few details about the phone but no information on price or availability.
We have now learned that Huawei will be launching the phone in India January 7. The phone will be announced at an event in New Delhi. The company has sent out invites to the media for the same.
