Guys By This MY Imate is WORKINg FINE and This is NEW OS WIndows Mobile 6 .... ALL JAMA faulty there phjone is not woking do this INSHALLAH ur JAMA Work Fine.!

used the above link to successfully upgrade JAMA from WM5 to WM6!
u can get the rom i used here:

The procedure is simple...
1. Format a memory card (micro sd) using FAT 16, use a card of 512 mb or less and atleast 64 mb since JAMA duznt support 1 Gb cards....
2. Extract the contents of the above mentioned rom to the memory card
3. Remove the simcard, insert the memory card back and then insert the battery
4. It will automatically upgrade, it will take sometime so relax
MAKE SURE TO BACKUP ANY IMPORTANT DATA!
and yes wm6 works and feels far better than the preinstalled wm5 so go ahead!

jibran, 21 Aug 2009buy a new battrey for it and it will solve ur problmjibran thx for ur reply.. but when switched on my jama with only CHRGER without battery .. then not opening.... BLUE logo appear on screen of IMATE but not going on WINDOWS now i m going tommorow to Imate Service centre.. but any one how to solve this problem , may be my Windows is corrupted or any other problem .:(

Plz Help me... Guyz When i Switched on my JAMA . then its gives BLUE logo of I-Mate for 20 seconds after this its goes on BLACK screen not full black but screen is shining of some light but nothing display on screen plz help any Xpert.. I tried to RESET and HARD RESTE nothing happend plz hellp...!!!

can somebody please help me with my imate jama because i just don't know what happened to it. I've been taking care of it,but one day it just stopped working (3 months after I bought it). This what happened that day my mobile phone just went dead then I connected it to the charger and then it lit with the welcome note (which is usual everytime it restarts) but then I noticed that it's not changing even after several minutes.I unplugged it,then reconnect it with the charger but still same thing occurred. Im totally clueless since I dont have any knowledge about this kind of thing.can somebody help???

i brought this cell phone through my sbi card schem, but after the one month it is gone dead and got the address from net for service centre but they told we r not repairing any mobile of this company the their expricence is bad, they told me pay Rs.500/- we can reinstalled it and it had been working than, i came with my cell, but same after two months i got my cell again gone dead, i m unhappy with also sbi and tieup company why they r given all schme like that product,
how many i pay that service center to repair it. and my expirence is not good with that call.

I don't like the comments made on this wall regrading this product and am just wondering what the manufacturing company is doing to sort the solution once and for all.
Hey guys. Don't be like the Kenyan Politician who likes it more when everyone is talking about how bad they are. Of cause they get famous for the next general election.
Do something like giving some hope or else get out of the market.

The worst phone i ever had. Please do not go for these product as it is not working properly.It has a problem regarding battery as well as bluetooth.

hai frnd i hve a pblm with ma i mate jama (only abt a month old). now wen i puts on d fone , an ' imate installer ' appears on the screan(in place of d start button) and something starts 2 install but it stops after completing abt 40%. and i cant do anything thereafter.but calls and msgs r comin 2 ma mobile. also it says INCSP20.exe is missing wen i jus put on d fone so pls pls help me ma frnd....

my imate jama taken bfore 2 months. now a imate installer have appeared in the screan and after 40% it stops . i cant take any options in the fone other than attending the calls
