Hi ,
I bought this PDA 6 months back . Occassionally its giving me screen allignment problems. The worst case is if you lock the device and the PDA's screen allignment changes, its almost impossible to unlock it . Another problem I am facing
is the camera . Video is not coming out
that good.
I did not face any sound problems and I
can tell that sound and it's quality is
far better than Jam . Imate phones are
more stable compared to ASUS or Intervideo ; however , the customer care
is too sloppy.

I too have sound problems. My jamin just died. Is it a software problems or dudd speakers?

I bought my jamin on 19-12-06, last week sparkers died.
Recommendation: I would like to see this mobile ASAP.
My previous knowledge with Imate, I was using imate Pocket Pc ( very old module), However it has some problem but much better, faster, to me than jamim.

Imate need to do some market research on who are their customers business execs like me arent going to put up postpaking your $800 item to a faceless useless service centres where people hide behind phones and emails because they no the product is a dud jamin and imate tata ----hello palm for a grade service

Bought this jamin nov 2006, been in repair centre one month twice already didnt have it back till jan sent it back again --need to realign screen 4-6 times a day service centres are 2nd rate and shouldnt be called srevice centres because there is no service. Imate are amateurs there is Nocustomer support do not by jamin . palm are the best service by far they will just replace a defect straight away imate are ducking and weaving constantly they are abunch of duds goodbye imate and jam your jamin.

i bought this mobile 2 months ago and my problems started since then.
the speakerphone was not working after 2 days & the sole agent in egypt kept it fo 5 weeks till they got the spare part to change it. and when i complained to i-mate international (by mail) that the i-mate customer service in egypt is very poor, they did nothing.
anyway i do not recommend this mobile or pocket PC to anyone of you, and please take it serious instead of regretting your money.

It's one of the best units on the market. Unfortunately most of negative comments in this forum are just an indication of two things:
1. People don't want to read manuals.
2. Microsoft made a wrong judgment with the WM5. Most people believe that when they close window it will actually be closed. Instead it goes to background and remains in memory. As a result one ends up with low memory, reboot etc.
It's by far the best phone/PDA combination I ever had.

Hi guys, I boght the JAMin in June 2006 and I think it is a great PDA. It has some problems though. The speaker is up to shit and the alarm is unreliable. I also think that Windows mobile is using a lot of the 128mb ram and the PDA runs short of memory.
When you exit a program, it doesn't actually close it and that takes memory. Often you need to go to Setting>Memory>Running Programs and stop them from running.
Is this a Windows Mobile or a JAMin problem?
I don't know.
I look forward to try the Nokia N95

guys I bought i-mate JAMmin and its not even start... It's appearing on the screen something but later turns off.. the memory card is fake...! Do you know why? pls help me ! thank u !

Please do not buy the JAMin. The speaker went dead all of a sudden. When I called Clubimate they told me to hard reset but did not solve the problem. They asked me to take it to Fono (Dubai Service) for warranty fix. I looked around the web and found that it seems to be a manufacturing defect. The speaker is placed where the SD Card slot is and gets disconnected. The imate web site make not mention of this. Someone should sue them

My collegues and myself have 3 IMATE Jamin. They are always loosing the screen alignment. Performed software update twice. Problem is still persisting. I won't suggest the Jamin.

I bought jammin 1 and Half Month Back And for last 1 week my speaked died, repairing is to costle i do not suggest to buy IMATE JasJar and Jammin Phone

I bought my JAMin June 06. Served me very well till Dec last when sound and volume died. Cant afford to send it for repairs because the agents in Nairobi will kill it for good, theyre that incompetent, so Im relying on vibration instead of ringer. Battery life is too short otherwise good PDA.Muli

i brought this device a week ago and it's already started giving me problems .... i even had to take it to the dealer to get it fixed ..... the appointments ... the tasks ... the alarms .... don't respond .... sounds don't come out as expected .... sound volume is really low .... i was thought this device would help in the work ... nah ... don't even think about buying this device if you really want it to work ....

my jammin is not getting synchronized with windows media 10. have active sync 4 and windows media 10 but every other thing works except for media player. any ideas
