when i am connecting i-mate_JAQ through USB cable after disabling activesyn my pc is not detecting as usb modem. and i am unable to connect it net.but it is ok with bluetooth.also it is always showing low bat.can any one help me

hi... ppls... I got tis mobile 4 days before, it rocks.. But the only problem tat i face is. Wen i keep my mobile in my pouch the back light won get switched off if i attend some call or recive som message.. and if i select an option in settings tat [the back lights should not turn on while tapping the screen] then the back light wont function while reciving calls or messages.. Kindly post reply hw to over come tis problem.... Waiting for ur reply...

Huh.! great phone as far as i'm concerned. The only grudge i have against this particular handset is that it lacks a cam. The windows mobile OS is a plus point. And well the best part about the whole thing is the bundled softwares that you get along with it, simply awesome. But the windows media player aint all that great, hence people can download the DivX mobile player which is available for no cost at their website

the interface is just awesome..and for people who feel the touch screen is a bit lopsided..like biased more towards the left..i say thats SH*T. it's evenly distributed and the sensitivity is perfect. the screen is oh so huge for all kinds of media that are viewable.has a mini-sd slot for the extended experience, and the earphones shipped along with it are just fine, except for this one thing..i've not yet found a way to keep the device completely silent.there are these network generated messages which make sound and u just cant do away with 'em. the QWERTY keyboard is too great, but if you're looking forward to texting way past your bedtime hiding inside the bedsheet, beware..the keys make considerable clicking noises..but you can always use the touch-keypad. and the battery life is more than sufficient- works out to around 3.8 hours with video on the earphones, after which the battery succumbs to low charge. well the stylus is placed in a very odd place..took me three days to figure out that the device has a stylus somewhere in it, till which time i was using the spare stylus which came along with it. The speakerphone quality is crisp and loud.
all in all ... a great buy.

battery life of my imate jaq is having low battery life is some body tell me reason. or i have heard taht some files are always active even if you have close all files. let some body tell me the reason pleaseeeeeee.

Iam using this phone , performance is quite okay if not great , but can someone please tell me the GPRS settings, i can see the mobile gets attched to the network , but i cant browse any website. I have a MTNL Delhi connection. The MNTL customer care is clueless about this brand, so if anyone has the settings please share.

Hi I bout this mobile but I could not get the gprs connection from airtel prepaid connection it says that there was no modum at above number.
Second one I am not able to share data with my PC can any one help out please

hello friends, the imate is very good mobile as compared to its price, i have got a single problem that is i am not able to get the GPRS setting with the HUTCH pre paid connection . any one who is using can send the send the GPRS setting, i ll be very grate full to him. my no. is 9923905871. thnx

I bought 1 for self & 4 for the company. usefull & trendy. feels out of place in hand due to size. value addition could have been a camera, but I guess there is another model available. this I bought for about INR 6750. getting used to this lovely piece. buy & enjoy it.

it have ok battery life
personalized ring tone is not possible
alarm is very low so we cant know when its ringing
when blue tooth is attach then dont think to have a good battery life

Just bought last week, great features, good battery life (16-20 hrs with 3 hrs of surfing), one problem drivers for XP to use it as a modem to surf on PC, any one has it pls email across.

Frequent Hanging of JAQ:
It appears to be true of iMate devices or MS Windows Mobile 5.0 based devices. My Jasjam hangs often and I have to do soft-rest.
