vusi, 26 Oct 2008i cant send mms because vidacom has no mms setings,even if ... morehi, when you want to send a picture to another bluetooth device, all you do is turn on your bluetooth and press hard on the screen of your device, you see options then choose the Beam file option and wait for it to search for the other device.you then tap and send.its as easy as that.

jitesh, 26 Sep 2008plz help me i had baught an old i mate k jam & it is giving... moreyou might overcharged it or your battery runs to low that the device does not have enough power to kick start it charging circuit. you should find ang adaptor rated @ 4.5 volts. exposed both ends and connect it directly to your battery. be careful with the polarity. you should keep the contact for about 30 secs then remove the connectins. unplug the adaptor and put your battery on its compartment. this time charge your kjam with its charger. this will surely work when prpoerly done. good luck

I had a really bad experience with the K-Jam. I got the device once issued in 2006. I had its screen crashed then I replaced the screen. It is costly to replace the screen if you go with the genuine parts. If you got another commercial brands it will consume more power and a new battery can last happily 15 hours!! The normal speaker (not the loud speaker) is damaged (I don't know why) so I bought a bluetooth speaker to overcome this problem. Two events can make the sound disappear from the loud speakers; 1st is after removing the headphones, 2nd is the newest problem I met with that damn device is that while inserting the USB into the phone the loudspeakers do not operate and the mobile will be silent!! I had hard times with that mobile actually. I made every update possible for the ROM. I do not use any unsigned software as the problems are clearly hardware problems.

Ive had the K-Jam for some time now and Im still finding new tweaks for it. I currently use it as a modem on my pc while taking advantage of Opera's WAP Browser. Not a fast connection at all but with a combonation of great wap sites i manage to communicate quite well with the rest of the cyber world.

the kjam is an excellent smartphone, i have been using this phone for over 2 years, and its still working without scratch, this phone is resilient, only downside to it now is that it is outdated, with cpu running @ 200mhz and no 3g,low&slow RAM, low res camera of about 1.3mp just does'nt kick it anymore.
OVERALL RATING:9.0/10.0 (well back in 2006 anyways :))

I'm using this i-mate k-jam phone. Its good for all but i couldnot connect internet through this modem in desktop/leaptop. in phone i can connect the net, but in dektop/leaptop it not connecting through this phone modem.

Kjam is one of the best model from imate, gud screen resolution, gr8 keypad & processor speed is also fine, i m facing problem regarding GPRS , whenever i disconnect it after a while it starts connecting automatically , i tried my best but didnt get the option to stop it. Kindly tell me the solution if anyone knows.

- and alafakra i think you should at least use your mind to read the booklet which was given with the mobile or else if you dont know how to read it( i mean if you dont know how to read english, i dont mean to be arrogant) then check your mobile out...
