I agree with taking the magnet out. I have been using my KJam for about six months now. I experience problems with low processor speeds, and the phone regularly hanging. I bought a generic pouch without the magnets in it. Ever since i have never had a problem with it. Also try upgrading the rom to the newest version. You can find it under www.leaf.co.za
I only reset this phone about once every two months, because of processes not terminating.

heya!!i hav had the kjam fa like 1 week now...jus wanted to knw of how to receive files via bluetooth frm otha mobiles!!!!!!!plzzzzzzzzzzz help me.....

had a iPAQ 6515 before now Kjam
it is a step down on processor speed.
Kjam is lousy to start with
the same features with better processor speed would de a phone worth looking at
non the less i am happy to switch form HP to i-Mate.

Dear,
I have i-mate K-JAM, for almost an year now, I boght this piece of equipment because, of my daily inputs:
1. Contacts,
2. Notes,
3. Bluetooth
4. Excel sheet
5. Emails
etc....etc....etc...
My problem started recently about 2 months ago. When receiving calls only part or just a click sound comes in and stops abrupt, abd if I did't here then untill I see it on the screen. presently friends are complaining I don't want to receive calls as if I've closed my mobile which is not so. I've to press re-set button several times..... but why, is it with me alone??????
Please help me....I love my K-JAM

This is without and doubt the worst electronic gadget I have ever purchased. The ring works erratically, The unit freezes and needs to be reset at lest 4 times a week, sometimes a hard reset. (I have no other software installed)The processor is slow. The camera and screen are second rate. The help line a joke. What a waste of money

i bought imate kjam but dont have CD, if anybody knows where to find software for imate kjam please help me, i am not able to connect kjam with my computer to transfer contacts/phone book etc.

I've had my kjam and really satisfied with it. Fot those of you that experience the phone hanging up and low signal problems, please take out the magnet in the pouch that you get when buying the phone. I found that all my problems went away after doing that,

i have the i-mate k-jam from 2 monthe , and im unhappy to have this mobile , coz evry day i dont have network i dont know why , i have 2 mobiles 1 nokia and 1 k-jam , but really the nokia is better

Can someone help I just bought the k-jam for bussness and now when ever i setup my internet connectivity it connectes ones and when I try to connect again it gives an error I have to start again setting the internet connections .And can any one advise the best software to receive 'push' emails with exchange on the k-jam

The K-Jam is supposed to be identical to the O2 XDA Mini S except that is lacks Pocket Office. Does anyone know if Pocket Office can be loaded separately onto the phone?

I've had the K-Jam for less than 2 months now and am not very happy. I decided on the K-Jam, as I was happy with the i-Mate Pocket PC I had for two years. It's the PDA and Outlook synchronizing functionality I'm after, along with the Windows Mobile platform and its touchscreen capabilities. The K-Jam's QWERTY keypad adds flexibility to the input method. I had to send the phone in for a service within 3 weeks: the change between screens was sluggish, touchscreen alignment irritatingly off the mark and it wouldn't allow me to hard reset. In the process the software was upgraded. It's now 2 weeks after that service, and the same problems have returned, with an added one - warnings that I am exceeding the memory limits. This, in spite of me not even having loaded any new programmes yet, nor having any large data files. I am not even synchronising e-mail, or using the Internet, as yet. No, I am not happy with this K-Jam.

after hearin so much abt how bad it is and how slow it i shud say most of the errors are user errors ,as long as u dont install any third party software u shudnt have any problems, this is a pda not a laptop mind u u shud bear with it i have this thing for 6 months , i use every function its got and i havent found any error its a fantastic device if you no how to use it properly .

Hi there all. after reqding all the reviews abt the Jam,I could not hold long to have it in my gadget robe. BUT I found one thing quite strange that inspite of all the step by step procedure of installation of modem I am unable to connect to the net using my modem. I donno the reason but am feeling quite strange about the problem. If any one could help me then it would be a gr8 help. I am in India and am on AIRTEL.Thanks in advance.
