My I-mate PDA2k show "main battery low" after that I could not boot. Please help how to fix this problem. What is main battery mean? Thank you.

everything is gr8 in its price ,, but 1 prob..
u have to restart to hear the caller when the problem happens.
+ u cant assign mp3 tones ..sometimes u can hear .but most of the time you hear the default.
does any body knows the solution. for the same points.

hey ollie,,,,since you bought the second hand piece,, with no software ,, i will give you the link for imate free softwares::

if you have one wired device for imate ie: chrger cum pc connector. so you can active sync your imate to your pc or laptop whatever,
only you have the imtae cd ,,just install that.. and folloew the instruction.. and enjoy..

To change the ring length:
To get the current call forwarding status, enter *#61# [SEND] into your phone.
(If you divert to message bank, the number displayed will be +61101) It will also tell you the current delay time.
Write down the number (ignore the +61), this is the phone number that your calls are currently being diverted to.
Enter **61*[number]*11*[delay]#[SEND]
The delay can be set to (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30) seconds.
To verify that the settings are correct, enter *#61#[SEND] again.

Can anyone help!! I'm a technological virgin and have just brought a secondhand pda2k with NO SOFTWARE!! I know it was stupid!! Can someone help me as i don't know what i need to download to connect to my laptop to transfer files, contacts, mp3's etc!

This is a great PDA - not having any problems but you really have to make sure you back up either to SD card or to your computer as the system seems to crash quite a lot. Does anyone have a problem with the phone only ringing 2 or 3 times before it goes to voice mail. Can't seem to change the length of the incoming ring which is annoying as you then pay for voice mail constantly.

I love this as a PDA but am a bit frustrated with the phone. Does anyone else have a problem with echoing when the phone is on loud speaker? The person I have called has a constant echo in their ear.

why the voice level become lopw during vedio recording in imate pda2k. can anyone help me in this regard. only voice recording level is gr8 and good quality.

satej go check out www.xda-developers.com it is a great site for getting releases of new roms for the PDA2K (HTC BlueAngel) I suggest everyone check out the site.

I dropped my i-mate pda2 in the water I managed it to dry of and cleaned and it did work after 2 days but the only problem is the button function is jamed. Whenever I try to use the phone the contact screen comes up with a little touch contact screen shows. I dont know what to do is it a software problem. I have it hard reset and still didnt change can any one help me.....

Sir you can download the latest ActiveSync from Microsoft webpage and use it with your PDA the ActiveSync can identify your phone with out any driver.

IF YOU REALLY WANT A SMARTPHONE, DO NOT BUY AN iMATE PDA2K!!!! This smartphone has very nice features that work well but it has basic software & other unknown problems that will drive you crazy. I purchased one in September 2005 and have barely used it other than to check out the features. It worked fine at first but now it will not work at all. The unit will not turn on even after it has been charged and hard reset. I took it to Axiom Telecom repair center in Dammam, Saudi Arabia and they told me that I downloaded some software that has corrupted the unit??? It was obvious that they did not know what they were talking about. The only software I downloaded was the upgrade from the iMate web site and now I cannnot even power up the unit. The cradle is fully operational but the unit will not charge. When the unit did work, the battery life was very poor so I had to keep it in the cradle often. If you want a Pocket PC, purchase another brand that is more reliable. I am going to sell my PDA2K at a hugh loss once I get it working. I purchased a Palm One Palm TX and it is fantastic. The only thing the TX does not have is a phone but I have decided that I do not want my PDA and phone together.

i got a pre owned pda2k and its still running well, the battery life last for a whole day so dont forget to charge it before yah sleep, as for the features they are jam packed, the phone also is satisfactory...sound is ok...no mic problems, so stop your yacking and get one =)
