Infinix announces its first foldable, meet the Zero Flip
Infinix is joining the folding phone market with its first foldable – the Zero Flip. The Transsion Holdings brand decided to go for a clamshell design with its first go and the device bears plenty of resemblance to the recently launched Tecno Phantom V Flip2.
Like its Tecno cousin, Infinix Zero Flip features a 6.9-inch main screen – an LTPO AMOLED with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,400 nits peak brightness. It is backed by a 3.64” AMOLED cover display with 1056 x 1066 px resolution, the same 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection.
The dual vertically stacked cameras sit on the cover screen – a 50 MP main shooter (GN5) with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide lens. They are joined by a 50MP selfie shooter which resides inside the punch-hole cutout on the main screen. All three cams can shoot 4K video and Infinix is also offering seamless integration with GoPro cameras allowing you to use the Zero Flip’s main screen as a viewfinder.
In terms of dimensions, Zero Flip weighs 195 grams and is 16 mm thick when folded and 7.6 mm when unfolded. It features a zero-gap hinge which allows the phone to close completely flat. You can also prop the phone on a flat surface and use it as a tripod as the hinge supports various angles ranging from 30 to 150 degrees.
The device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset and you get 8GB RAM and 512GB storage as standard. The software side is covered by XOS 14.5 based on Android 14. Infinix is pledging 2 Android version updates which should 3 years of security updates. The battery is rated at 4,720mAh and it supports 70W fast charging via cable.

I know about 16:9 im saying it would be atleast better. My phone 19:9 or 20:9 its a galaxy s21. But still making a foldable be 16:9 aspect ratio would be bettet than 4:3. But if they can make it high ratio. Then even better.
