The iPhone SE (2022) only has one camera, yet it can do portrait shots, and the results are just as good as phones with a dedicated portrait lens.
So yeah, while a portrait lens is functional, it's largely unnecessary and all manufacturers should discard them entirely.

I hate how they keep putting useless or fake lenses to make their phones appear like they have 2 or 3 cameras when in reality they only have ONE functional rear camera.
Seriously Transsion, stop this nonsense. It's not a sin to just have one rear camera on an entry-level phone, since ultrawides and macros for this price are pretty garbage anyways.
