Infinix introduces 260W wired and 110W wireless charging tech
Infinix introduced a new step in its quest for ultra rapid charging - 260W wired and 110W wireless All-Round FastCharge. The new solution can fill a battery from 0 to 25% in one minute over the wire and can reach 100% in under 8 minutes. Wirelessly, 0 to 100% can be achieved in 16 minutes.
The 260W standard arrives just nine months after Infinix unveiled the 180W Thunder Charge. The new technology builds on that, upgrading from a dual 8C battery to a single 12C battery with a 4-pump circuit design that intelligently identifies power requirements and allocates the number of charge pumps needed.
According to the official press release, the charging efficiency is 98.5%, and the 4,400 mAh test battery could retain 90% of its initial capacity after 1,000 cycles. The charger uses a combination of GaN material and AHB circuit infrastructure with high power density, small size, and safe charging control. The cable is also important, and Infinix developed one that can carry a current of up to 13A to ensure the 260W charging.
The 110W wireless charging is using custom-made small-sensitive coils with different architectures - there are fewer but wider coils in the same space, reducing internal resistance and subsequently lowering phone temperature increase when charging.
There is also a 110W custom-made charger with a dual-coil design for both vertical and horizontal charging. The station employs a fan at the base to improve heat dissipation.
Along with the obvious wired and wireless charging, the standard also supports reverse charging, bypass charging and multi-protocol charging. It is compatible with other protocols, including Power Delivery 3.0.
The company confirmed the new tech will arrive with an upcoming Infinix Note smartphone this year, so we should see it in action pretty soon.

You obviously think business life is only about moving around. Programmers, digital workers and financial analysts work 50 times harder than you and make more money and yet don't move much. We also love this technology as we are constantly ...

Such a joker. Fast charging is bs even footpath technicians can make this bs. Sammy was one of the first brands to use fast charge. s23u pd3 supports. But what matter the most a last long battery life like s23u and 14 pro max
