15W wireless charging from infinix was like the budget-flagship phones. Also infinix would make infinix fold (I think)

Collins , 27 May 2023Can someone tell me which one to choose between Infinix Not... moreWell the galaxy s9plus is so much better in CPU and GPU (graphics processing unit), but it has so much smaller screen 6.1" (not big enough for streaming Netflix and playing games), and it has much smaller battery and much older android version and features, though I can't pretend I don't know it can resist water up to 1.5m for 30mins. In summary if u want a flashy looking phone that will give u newer android version, big screen for gaming, decent processor (G99), big battery and if u care about the weight go for note 30 pro it's lighter. And don't forget there are 128GB and 256GB versions so mind your purse, s9plus 64GB is cheaper but overall I think note 30pro will do.

I'll rarher choose the regular NOTE 30 than the Pro version. It just an enough good specs for a budget and its cheaper than the Pro version. Waiting for the review that device, and it just interesting.

Anonymous, 25 May 2023fyi ...amoled is better than ips AMOLED looks better a little bit with colour, brightness and clear black technology but PWM... I don't like when phone flashes with its max brightness even on lowest brightness. Read how AMOLED backlight works.
And only because of that IPS is much better for your health.

OneHundredPercent, 26 May 2023Technically speaking, the devices are all equal when it com... moreI'm impressed by your detailed reply. Thank you so much!
That makes two people who have already recommended the Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G.
I don't know much about MediaTek as I'm not much of a tech guy, but I just finished reading people's opinions on GSMArena about the MediaTek Dimensity 8050 being a rebadged version of the 1300 (and that one also being a rebrand of the 1200). Many of them seem to consider it trash and obsolete in 2023.
So, I was wondering if anyone here considers the MediaTek Dimensity 8050, which is in the Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G, a good option that can still withstand the test of the next two years, at least, for a mid-range phone.
I understand that the perfect phone doesn't exist anyway, but I want to make sure that two years down the line, I'm still happy with my decision.

viclanry, 25 May 2023Hi,
Could you please guide me in making an informed deci... moreTechnically speaking, the devices are all equal when it comes to battery as they're all 5000 mah. However, we should always keep in mind that a more powerful processor consumes more energy. It sounds like you are a gamer so you can already consider G99 or the Dimensity 8050 as those are optimised for gaming and all-rounder chipsets. The UMI's chipset can also game but not as hard as those two devices you mentioned. UMI's advantage of the two devices is the camera as it has a Sony IMX sensor, you can't go wrong with it. But since camera performance isn't really your priority, then we should remove UMI from your option.
Just to make things clear, I'm not against Infinix and this is just my personal opinion but the wireless charging and JBL speakers are just for gimmicks to compensate for the chipset. You really don't need those features and you can live without them. Besides, you can use your Bluetooth speaker to amplify your sound experience and there's a scientific study that wireless chary could potentially degrade the lifespan of the battery fast compared to wired.
If I were to personally choose from the devices you've given, I'd simply choose Tecno. The important part of all is the chipset which is the brain of the device. It has the new Dimensity 8050 which can definitely game and it comes with 5g. It's best to future proof your device compared to the G99 with only 4G. That already tells a lot and you can tell that the 8050 is more advance.

Anonymous, 25 May 2023Buy neither. Get Poco f5 proThanks for the suggestion but it's outside of my budget for a smartphone right now.
I’ve listed all three that are within my budget range already.

sq2013 , 25 May 2023Supposed to but usually don't. Most updates are purely... moreHi,
Could you please guide me in making an informed decision?
I'm currently torn between three budget smartphones - Umidigi A13 Pro Max 5G, Infinix Note 30 Pro, and Tecno Camon 20 Pro 5G.
I want to make sure that I choose the best option that I can use for at least two years before I consider buying a new one.
As a freelancer, my phone is always in use throughout the day, and I'm also an avid player of efootball PES 2023.
If you had to choose one of these three phones, which one would you recommend?
Please consider battery life, heavy usage, chipset, processor, and other important features in your response.
Thank you!
