Infinix Note 40X 5G launched with Dimensity 6300 and 108MP main cam

Infinix announced a fifth member in its Note 40 series with the Note 40X 5G. This comes as the midrange offering in the series with Dimensity 6300 chipset, 256GB storage as standard, and a 108MP main camera.

Note 40X 5G is built around a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone has dual speakers and an 8MP front-facing camera that supports Dynamic Bar functionality for notifications and system status alerts.

The back gets a 108MP main cam with f/1.75 aperture. It is joined by a 2MP macro cam and an AI lens. The software side is covered by XOS 14 based on Android 14 while the battery comes in at 5,000 mAh and features 18W charging support.

Infinix Note 40X 5G comes in Starlit Black, Lime Green and Palm Blue colors. Pricing starts at INR 13,999 ($167) for the 8/256GB trim and goes up to INR 14,999 ($179) for the 12/256GB version.

Open sales in India begin on August 9 from Flipkart.

The G99 Ultra like into the Poco M6 Pro is fine. The (display) lag of the phone goes away, if you switch to developers options, and then use the system graphics driver, instead of the default one. So far, this was my best 169 EUR invested into a 8GB/...

NOTE 40X with Density 6300 is very similar in performance of Helio G99 to D6080 era. D6300 is a good recommendation, but you'll need to consider the alternative ones like the Helio G99, which is way cheaper. And remember how 5G connectivit...
