DarlingYext, 19 Mar 2025"..how does this compare to the Redmi note 14?" ... moreThis phone being better than Redmi Note 14 is literal facts, but ოt404 still gave you an 🤣 lol.

It happens to all of us who are used to flagship, high end and upper midrange phones, these budget devices will never give you that premium feel, though they can be solidly built

My fellow tech reviewer friend has brought one in his office,it was imported and unofficial. so i had a little hands on experience with the device.
First things first, i liked the display,Color accuracy was decent, it didnt look too vivid,so its a good thing.

But the in hand feel wasnt that impressive, i dont know why,it kinda felt cheap when i held it in my palms, but i think maybe its just me..

The overall design was quite attractive though, the purple color version that we got, looked really gorgeous from a distance.

The camera quality was good,i wont say best as i have seen similar priced Oppo and Vivo performed noticeably better.

The sound quality of the loudspeaker was as trash as always, despite the JBL hype. I did a brief sound test, pitting it against an Oppo Reno 13f (4g Variant), and note 50 pro's sound was so average both in terms of quality and strength that Oppo sounded like a flagship device in front it..
Funny They are doing this collaboration with JBL for 3 years now,but nothing good came out of this. Sad.
Sound quality through headphone expectedly was miles better.

Didnt had enough time, but i did tried few games like Free Fire,E football, Pubg, Dragon ball legends for almost an hour. In case of Pubg, there were noticeable frame drops, but it was expected from a helio g100 device, E football was around 53-58 fps at player high/Stadium standard 60fps setting, thats as good as note 30 and Note 40, so nothing impressive here to be honest.
The good thing is the phone didnt heat up that much while i played those games, but then as soon as i launched Dragon ball Legends, the phone's temperature started to rise rapidly, the back part became noticeably warm. But then again,Note 30 and 40 too had the same issue when playing that game.

Battery backup was decent. Didnt drain that much power despite one hour gameplay. It went 100% to 77%, so not too bad, considering the helio g100 is pretty power hungry.

The pricing was not justifiable, especially when some brands are offering higher performance at the same price range, such as Vivo iQOO Z9s, Oneplus Nord CE4 lite.

So i wouldnt recommend this phone to anyone. But then again, If you like this phone, you can buy it. Who is stopping you?

The Pro 4G version comes with 1080p H-FPS (not 60 FPS), which appearantly enhanced visual quality at 45 FPS. It also have a Ultra Steady Mode enabled.

Do not expect make 60 FPS on it, unless otherwise, make a software update to add separate version of 1080p with 60 FPS and H-FPS.

On non-pro NOTE 50 though do not share the same thing. Still have 60 FPS though without video stabilitation.

It's true that a lot of mobile phone companies are making the same models just with different names. Since 2023, they've been doing this to a certain extent, but now they're going way overboard, producing triple the number of models each year. It seems like the phone companies are focusing more on the quantity instead of the quality.
