Playing Mobile Legends on medium setting and hfr on only gives around 7 and at maximum 8 hours, while Genshin Impact only gives around 6 hours. Screen-on time on normal use also gives only around 9 hours maximum when using mobile data.

Hello everyone! I am using an Infinix Note 7 for about 2 months now and here's my review.
The build quality is good, and the design is so eye-catching. I have the Bolivia Blue and although this needs maintenance to clean, it is what I prefer. You can choose a gaming-aesthetic Aether Black or a premium-like Forest Green color though.
The display is ok, but not really well-suited for a 7-inch phone. Pixels are sometimes visible in gray colors if your eyes are literally clear. It does the work done however, but viewing movies and photos come slightly underdetailed compared to 1080p displays of other phones.
Sound quality is quite good (largely factored by the stereo speakers). The bass can be noticed but not packing. Calls can be heard good.
The battery fares well, but underdelivers considering the 5000 mah battery. Under heavy usage (playing games straight), you can squeeze only up to 8-9 hours screen-on time on Mobile Legends (medium setting, hfr on and mobile data usage), Genshin Impact in around 7 hours (low setting, mobile data usage). This is largely influenced by the large screen though. Charging time can be around 2.5 hours from 0-100%, but I charge my phone from 20 and after an hour it has at least 80% or more.
The performance is what drove me into buying this phone. Helio G70 delivers well in day-to-day tasks and even on heavy workload and gaming. The 6gb RAM is an absolute beast in the competion under the price range (others still offer 4gb RAM). It can run more than 9 heavy apps in the background without refresh, although it takes its toll on the battery.
Camera-wise, it does a pretty good job. Colors come a little oversaturated sometimes though, but it does super well under low light, and by that I mean the subject is really visible, but do not expect too much details when zoomed. The photo's subject is visible and that's it. But compared to the competition, the low-light photos are stunning to look at (this takes better low-light photos than the Nova 7i).
However, daylight quality of the photos lack details. Zooming into the photo has some details destroyed by noise. HDR doesn't work well like other Infinix phones (it destroys the details even more, and leaving it on auto does not help as it doesn't trigger at all). Photos may be a little bit saturated but it is an eye-candy and quite lively to look at. But the photos actually look good and it does the job.
The macro camera is good too, although zooming in does not make the photo any clearer.
Going to the sensors, the system reports a 12 mp camera as opposed to 48 mp. The low-light sensor is clearly a marketing concept only since covering it doesn't make the video quality worse--instead it stays the same, even under low-light.
Internet connectivity seems a bit of lacking since other phones have better signal reception, but when it does have signal, the speed fares well like other Cat. 4 devices. It is a pro that this supports 5ghz wifi. I suggest that you lock on 4g network when playing games as it sometimes drop to 3g.
Verdict: an overall well-performing phone with some downsides, but when you need a multitasking phone that can run heavy apps at the same time, this is the phone for you. Gaming is also welcome, but don't expect clearer views and detailed graphics as this maxes out on 720p resolution.
