My Note 8i has a software problem that it takes long tie to boot i need to take it near wifi router.

About the fingerprint issue it’s a software problem. Next update should be able to fix that.

I don't know anything about your own phone
I updated mine early this month ....since then the fingerprint options has not been showing and I don't know the reason why.
