Infinix Zero Flip debuts in India

The Infinix Zero Flip, unveiled last month as Infinix's first foldable smartphone, was introduced in India today as promised.

The Infinix Zero Flip comes in Blossom Glow and Rock Black colors in a single 8GB/256GB configuration. It's priced at INR54,999 ($655/€600) but will have a special launch price of INR49,999 ($595/€550) when sales begin through Flipkart on October 24.

The Infinix Zero Flip is powered by the Dimensity 8020 SoC and runs Android 14-based XOS 14.5 out of the box. Infinix has promised OS upgrades up to Android 16 with three years of security updates.

The Infinix Zero Flip sports a 6.9" FullHD+ LTPO AMOLED folding display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,400 nits peak brightness. The cover display, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, measures 3.64" diagonally and has 1,066x1,056-pixel resolution. It is an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,100 nits peak brightness.

The Dimensity 8020-powered foldable sports three 50MP cameras for photography - primary, ultrawide, and selfie. Like the main camera, the selfie camera can record 4K videos at 60 FPS. The smartphone also has seamless integration with GoPro cameras.

Other highlights of the Infinix Zero Flip include stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio support and JBL tuning, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and NFC. The smartphone is fueled by a 4,720 mAh battery with 70W wired and 10W reverse wired support.

Unfortunately in India once you purchase such expensive flip phones, there is no resell value when u try to sell it out later..
