iOS 16.0.3 rolls out with fixes for new iPhones and the Mail app
A new bug-squashing update is now rolling out for iPhones. iOS 16.0.3 is available to download and weighs in around 1GB. The update will address a few bugs that users with iPhone 14 models may be experiencing, and it also fixes a bug with the Mail app.
- One issue with notifications being delayed or not arriving at all has been addressed on the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max.
- Some iPhone 14 models experienced low microphone volume when conducting phone calls through Apple CarPlay.
- In some cases, the Camera app was slow to launch or switch to on the iPhone 14 Pro or 14 Pro Max.
- The Mail app was inadvertently crashing at startup after the user received a “malformed” email. This has been fixed.
On our iPhone 14 Pro, the update holds 1.21GB of storage. You can head into Settings > General > Software Update to check for the latest OTA.
