iPhone 15 CAD renders show Dynamic Island and USB-C port
A week after the iPhone 15 Pro renders emerged, we now have our first look at the non-Pro iPhone 15. These CAD-based renders shared by 9to5Mac depict two major changes from the outgoing iPhone 14 - a 6.2-inch display with a Dynamic Island pill-shaped cutout set to replace the infamous notch.
The second notable change compared to prior iPhones is the USB-C connector at the bottom of the device which will replace the dated Lighting port. The left-hand side will still house the mute switch and volume controls.
The new report specifies they will likely be physical buttons instead of the rumored capacitive ones. The back will still house a dual camera setup with diagonally placed sensors.
