iPhone 16 Pro Max to be even bigger
In May last year, renders comparing the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the 15 Pro Max emerged, showing the former being slightly taller and wider. That's because the report claims the 16 Pro Max has a 6.9-inch display as opposed to the 6.7-inch screen on the 15 Pro Max.
Now, live photos of what appears to be a 16 Pro Max dummy compare it to a real iPhone 15 Pro Max. The pictures confirm the initial leak and the rumored Action Button on the side.
It's evident from the photos that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be bigger than the current big-screen iPhone but by how much exactly? If the CAD-based renders from May 2023 are to be believed, the 16 Pro Max will be 5mm taller and 0.5mm wider. And by the looks of it, the aspect ratio will likely be the same, so the minimal increase in width is probably due to screen-to-body ratio optimization by trimming the bezels.
