iPhone 16e appears on Geekbench with 8GB RAM
Apple kicked off pre-orders for its brand-new iPhone 16e today and the device was coincidentally spotted in a pair of certifications.
The 16e appeared on Geekbench with the iPhone 17,5 alias, managing 2,706 single-core and 7,942 multi-core scores. The binned A18 chip inside the 16e delivers a 17% drop in single-core performance compared to the iPhone 16, while the multi-core scores are almost equal.
The Geekbench listing also confirms that the device is indeed packing 8GB RAM, which seems to be the system requirement for Apple Intelligence.

In related news, the latest member of the iPhone 16 series was also spotted on China’s 3C with the A3410 identifier. That listing revealed it supports up to 29W charging speeds, which aligns with the rest of the iPhone 16 series.

It is social suicide in the US to be a green bubble. If you have an Android phone you will never be included in the group chats, there will always be secret iMessage group chats that exclude you. Has been this way for about 15 years now lol
