iPhone 7 unveiling event rumored for September 7
When it comes to the iPhone 7, we just found out mere hours ago that we should expect a duo of devices to be unveiled this year, and not a trio - so RIP, iPhone 7 Pro.
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have so far been rumored to enter the pre-order phase on September 9, with actual availability apparently starting on September 16. One thing has remained elusive, though, and that is the exact day on which the grand event will be held.
Now a person who's said to be "familiar with the matter" claims the big announcement is scheduled for September 7. That's two days before pre-orders are supposed to start, so it kind of makes sense. We obviously can't be sure yet since this is just one rumor, but if the pre-order and availability dates are true, then there's no reason for Apple not to unveil the phones on September 7.
