iPhone Fold's price range tipped
We’ve already seen multiple rumors about Apple’s iPhone Fold launch price, with some suggesting it would cost anywhere from $2,000 to $2,500, while a more recent report speculated a $2,300 launch price. The latest addition comes from tipster Instant Digital who believes the device will be priced in the $2,100 - $2,300 range.
According to the post, the price was estimated based on Apple’s current profit margins. This would position the iPhone Fold above key competitors like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold6 ($1,900) and Google’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold ($1,800) while also making Apple’s first foldable nearly twice as expensive as its current top-of-the-line iPhone 16 Pro Max, which starts at $1,199.

According to the latest rumors, Apple will launch its iPhone Fold next year with Samsung supplying both the 5.5-inch cover display and the 7.8-inch flexible main panel. Apple is expected to bring a liquid metal hinge that’s stronger than titanium. The foldable iPhone will reportedly measure 4.5 - 4.8mm in its unfolded state and 9 - 9.5mm when folded.

A higher price point than the competition is not a smart thing to do at all. Apple better be careful how they go about in pricing there first foldable smartphone or it will flop when nobody will be able to afford it. The Vision Pro Headset was a flop...

Honestly, this seems pretty cheap for an Apple product, I expect this to sell really well if these prices are true.
