A higher price point than the competition is not a smart thing to do at all. Apple better be careful how they go about in pricing there first foldable smartphone or it will flop when nobody will be able to afford it. The Vision Pro Headset was a flop because nobody want to pay the very high $3,500 price tag. You could by 3 computers from my local Walmart with $3,500 budget and still money left over.

Has anyone seen the recent viral story about tic toker's exposing most luxury brand items are made in China? The items are shipped over seas where luxury brands simply repackages their items, labels them and then claims "made in Italy" or wherever.
This story further speaks to what I've written about psychology and how it plays a part on consumer behavior. There is a value to your brand and a value to your image. Companies pay a lot of money to protect that image.
The point is it doesn't matter if the ifold is $2100 or $2400. It will outsell the other book folds by 2-3 times minimum because that's the power of Apple's brand.

Not just tariffs and nonsense, but everything cut off with no immediate change to change that. The European market is almost half a billion people. 50% larger than their US market.

I don't expect Apple to go either or FOLD or not folds specs,
It will however be a low ball affair standard Iphone / Iphone +
if it does come in Pro Max expect a $3000 tab-
