iQOO Neo7 Indian model's key specs confirmed, could be a rebranded Neo7 SE
vivo sub-brand iQOO will launch the iQOO Neo7 in India on February 16, and if you were expecting it to be the same Neo7 unveiled in China last October, that's not happening since iQOO today confirmed key specs of the Indian Neo7, suggesting it could be a rebranded Neo7 SE introduced in China last month.
iQOO's Indian branch has confirmed that the Neo7 launching in India will come with 5G connectivity, 120W charging, and Dimensity 8200 SoC, making it India's first smartphone to have the Dimensity 8200 chip at the helm.
The Neo7 available in China also supports 5G networks and 120W charging, but it's powered by the Dimensity 9000+ SoC, while the Neo7 Racing Edition has the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 under the hood.
The Indian Neo7 being a rebranded Neo7 SE is hardly a surprise since the Neo6 launched in India last year was a rebranded Neo6 SE available in China.
If the Neo7 Indian model is a rebadged Chinese Neo7 SE, it will come with a 6.78" 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED screen, 64MP primary camera (with OIS), and a 5,000 mAh battery. However, the smartphone will likely run Funtouch OS instead of OriginOS since the latter is China-exclusive.
You can check the detailed specs comparison of the Chinese Neo7, Neo7 SE, and Neo7 Racing Edition here while we await more details about the Indian Neo7 from iQOO.
