iQOO teasing a new phone launch

After successfully launching its Z3 5G globally last month, iQOO is looking forward to its next device launch and brand President Feng Yufei teased the alleged date. The Weibo post shows a corner pocket pool shot with an eight ball hitting a four ball signaling a potential launch date for August 4. There’s not much more we can cover in terms of specs here but according to speculation, we’ll see the launch of iQOO 8.

The successor to iQOO 7 will likely be the first Snapdragon 888 Plus phone on the market, edging out Honor Magic 3 which will debut on August 12. There’s a chance the upcoming iQOO phone could top the 120W charging speeds found on the previous iQOO phones. As usual, we'll update you with more details once they are avaialble.
