Pretty great for the price. I have the 6GB ram and 128GB rom version. It can handle games like hsr, zzz and genshin at low-medium settings without problems.

I personally can't find the big difference between 60hz and 90hz although I do notice that some gestures (such as scrolling) are smoother at 90hz.

The only deal-breaker I have with this is the 720p alongside with a 6GB vram (why does a 720p phone need a 6GB vram), although vram is adjustable in settings.

Overall, this is the best entry-level phone there is in market, although do look out for discounts on better phones if you're bounded by a budget.

This is probably the best phone at this price and very underrated, it's still has couple of flaw here and there but nothing has value P55 5G offered.

I bought one for secondary device because it was on sale, and I was surprised after using it for a few days. The 720p didn't bother me as much, it's not noticeable unless I get very close to the screen, it's not too dim but not too bright, but the colour is nice. The camera is unexpectedly great for the price, the detail is meh, but the colour and noise management wasn't that bad (though the built in camera app was inconsistent, sometimes noise reduction works sometimes don't). There's only one mic, and the quality is just meh, but usable, I guess? Wifi 5GHz works fine (max wifi speed was 433Mbps), 4G is usable. Haven't tried downloading heavy stuff, but so far it works okay watching videos, reading online comics, and texting etc. EVEN wifi-sharing/repeater mode works! For this low price, it's pretty surprising (considering my samsung that cost 6 times of this can't do that). The MTK 6080 is pretty good, the phone is smooth and nice so far. The unfortunate thing is that it's using only UFS 2.2, I found my U3/V30 microSD faster than its built in 128GB... :') ;; I mean, UFS 2.2 is barely better than eMMC 5.1, it's very similar, but eMMC 5.1 is newer than UFS 2.2. But it's all good and usable for secondary device and lighter usage. The same price in 2015 got me a horrible phone with MTK6582 and 1GB LPDDR3, and this is soooo much better. I guess it's really true that phone technology has stagnated (to a certain extent), and affordable ones are quite good nowadays. Just, just, need to see for the durability. Hope this lasted at least 3 years for me.

Does anyone here know the model number of the 5000mAh battery? I can't seem to find battery replacement for this phone and it's one of the "make or break" moment for me when deciding to buy a phone.

Do you guys also have this issue where the screen dims when opening some apps? Like when I open Gmail, the brightness lowers down, then the brightness increases back when I exit the app. It's noticeable with remove animations on. Is there any fix for this? It's very annoying.

Is this phone's good in terms of build quality and thermal cooling aside from good cpu and 6gb ram? Can anyone recommend a phone with the same price with itel p55 5g? I have only on my choices is Redmi 13c and Tecno Spark 20.

I've checked vids concerning itel p55 5g gaming on YT and it delivers more than I could ask for (checked genshin, codm and even warzone apparently). It was just OKAY especially on smooth to medium graphics but the fact I could see no stutters in vids I watched is all I needed.
Also, concerning the phone you recommend, is it a cheap budget phone like the itel and where and how can anyone get such brand new cuz Ive seen such in any "normal" phone store.

Itel P55 is not really a gaming phone, it has weak cooling system for heat dissapation. If u are a gaming centric person but on a tight Budget go with ZTE Nubia Neo 2 build for gaming Uses Unisoc T820 which is more powerful than D6080 and Unisoc T820 has 5G too

Pat, 14 Apr 2024Planning to buy this phone for genshin and cod is it good? ... more@Pat Ok before I'll give my personal opinionated answer (not everyone will agreed), first Dimensity 6080 for me is an Upper Low End Category Chipset Since it Integrates 2x Cortex A76. Why its not Entry Level Chipset?. Well when it comes to Entry Level Low End Chipset for sure that chipset is not for gaming AT ALL! it would stutter alot on games or not run the game that it should do or would expected to run. Like for example Helio G36 is used in Entry Level phones as the GPU and CPU integrated cores are way weaker than Dimensity 6080. Its like your comparing Intel Celeron as entry level to Intel Core I3 as low end level. Back in the Question is Dimensity 6080 a Good Gaming Performing Phone for budget Price? I would say yes but decent common to budget gaming centric device this phone performs pretty good but not the best on gaming. Genshin Impact have same Frame Distribution similar to G99 and D700 so there is no such performance boost on either D6080, D700 or G99.
