vikas, 26 Apr 2013thAnx frend......!!!!.............. caN U tll .....perform... morePerformance of both (canvas hd and xolo q800) is same.canvas hd has advantage of having hd 1280x720p screen over xolo q800 sporting 960x540p screen resulation. Even qhd screen is gud enough(crisp&clear). Xolo q800 is better than canvas hd in camera department...thanks to BSI/Cmos sensor used in Q800 that produce better snaps even in low light..while canvas hd missing bsi sensor. U can installed apps/games directly on sd card while u can't do it on canvas hd without rooting.and the most important point we've nt discussed yet...battery backup.... Q800 provide 16h talktime over 2g and 8h over 3g(thanks to qhd screen that consume less power) while u'll get 5-6h talktime on canvas hd. So finally...my verdict is if u want bigger screen(5 inch) with hd resulation then go with canvas hd if u want better camera,more battery backup,get rid of internal memory headache then xolo q800 is 4 u. Hope u got it well...if any doubt u r always wc.

Let me clarify...karbonn a9 is powered by snapdragon msm8225 chip based on old cortex a5 architectur eqipped with adreno 203...so if u want to experiece full power of dual core then go with any mediatek mt6589 processor that is based on cortex a9 architecture...and cortex a9 is 40% faster than cortex a5...in other word mt6577(dual core) is equivalent to msm8225q(quad core chip used on s5 titanium). So better u go with any mt6577 powered droid. U can get celkon a200 and lava xolo a700 under 7500..u can get upto 7200 if u r a good bargainer.

there is lot of problems in this mobile set. bad battery back up hang problem.

Hi Tom,
I am getting the A9+ in 6150 and S5 in 10500 from indiatimes. Does is worth spending 4000 more on S5 as I useage for the mobile is very limited. I just need a good camera, gaming and little bit of internet. Please advice. Thanks

AnonD-136939, 25 Apr 2013Dear Tombraider, I want to buy one smartphone, & I have... moreLava xolo q800,micromax a116 and zen ultrafone 701hd, trio r powered by the same mediatek mt6589 chip clocked at 1.2GHZ coupled with powerVR SGX544 gpu..so performancewise all r good but canvas hd and ultrafone 701hd sports 720 hd resulation while xolo q800 come with 540p qhd resulation...so watching a movie or reading something on canvas hd and ultrfone hd would be charm...but even qhd resulation is good enough.nw lets move on camera...all r equipped with 8mp camera...but camera on xolo q800 and zen ultrafone r better than canvas hd, b'coz both has 8mp camera with bsi sensor that is good 4 low light photography...while canvas hd missing bsi sensor so indoor photo shoot won't be so gud.u can directly installed apps/games on xolo q800 so internal memory won't be a headache 4 u while u can't do it on canvas hd but nt sure abt ultrafone hd. Rest r almost same on trio phone...i've tried to cover maximum point...if still any doubt then feel free to ask.
