I have been using this phone for 15 days battery life is just not acceptable, drains off in 3-4 hrs without any talktime use, only for wats app and emails, have to carry the charger where ever i go , thank god i have another fone with me as back up.

I'd say that its safe to ditch this Octa beast and go for a LG L90 which costs 18k or go for a Grand 2 which costs around 21-22k and get a Piece of Mind!!! Ur gonna have problems with latching on to the Wifi Signal , Problems in Sim Network switching between 3g and 2g if ur using a Network like Aircel!!! U will have Issues with the Battery heating up real bad!!! U will need a Powerbank or need to charge ur phone 3-4 times a day which is not feasible at all!!!! Ditch these Micromaxes and Karbons and Xolos and Spices!!!! Go for a good company!!!! U can even try Gionee M2 !!!! Good Specs with Marathon Battery of 4200 MAH!!!!

i am confused between xolo q3000 vs micromax canvas knight vs karbonn titanium octane plus. main features
1. good battery (can compromise)
2. good looks
3. fast phone (fast processor)
4. good camera (please dont just say by seeing megapixels)
5. should be able to play high graphic games smoothly without any lag
6. it should never (almost) lag or hang
7. good display
8. should get updates asap
9. scratch resistant (front and back)
10. company should provide good service

The power bank is 10400 mah and costs 1399 :-)

Hello Bunty. I think for the time being if whoever is buying this phone external power bank is the only option as it can charge the mobile on the go. but really i can't understand why indian companies are so keen on providing puny batteries. i mean look at lenovo it has really come up with phones having monstor battery for phone like p780. even Xolo did it for XoloQ3000. wish Karbonn did same for this awesome phone. anyways i am not just ordering this phone but a power bank too as i am a total gamer. Thanks a lot Bunty :)

Hey bunty,
i got the phone yesterday, i took it to office.. god... everyone was so impress with the look na... its very slim n sexy looking phone.. thanks bunty... and ya its 16mp only not 12mp.. really a nice camera man but only when u take pics in daylight.. at low light also it performs well.. but not that much... the only issue i feel is the battery... it gets discharge very soon.. lets see may be its new one so.. after it gets older it might perform well... am fully satisfied with the phone... it has a very good photo editing software as well.. lots of effect is there.. awesome man

Hey Bunty it looks like the phone is good except for the battery. can we increase the battery capacity by replacing the battery with any other one. i recently sold my s3 and really liked this beast but only thing stopping me to go ahead is its 2000mah battery. i will also inquire if the battery of a higher capacity can be placed in this phone. but as i don't have the phone i can't show it to shopkeeper. if we find a way that we can place a battery with a capacity of 2500 mah to 3000 mah this phone is definitely a killer. pls if you can check in market for any higher capacity battery and answer. it will be of great help to all of us who wants to enjoy this beast in our hands. thanks well in advance :)
