Kuo: No foldable iPhone or iPad in sight, 20.3-inch foldable screen MacBook to launch in 2027

Popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed Apple is working on a 20.3” foldable screen MacBook and will launch the device in 2027. Sadly, this is the only foldable product with a clear development schedule, Kuo added, as Cupertino will not mass-produce foldable iPhones or iPads in 2025 or 2026.

The analyst, who is normally on point with his information about Apple, is not the first to mention the 20.3” diagonal. Previously we heard Apple inquired Samsung and LG about providing a 20.25-inch foldable panel for a laptop-type of device. Industry insiders said Samsung Display is reshifting its focus on mass production of foldable panels, likely to adapt to Apple's requirements and future plans.

They could've easily brought touchscreens to MacBooks decades ago, considering that they're the most expensive laptops yet on the mass market. But they simply killed the potential and used ugly notches, which nobody even asked for
