Latest Google Pixel 5 leak shows new Mint Green color

Peter, 24 September 2020

This is not our first encounter with the Google Pixel 5, in fact, we’ve seen its almost complete spec sheet and a couple of images. Now leakster Evan Blass has shared yet more images – this time showing the back of the phone as well as a new color.

That color is the Mint Green that we never got with the Pixel 4 (despite leaks). Earlier today images of the Pixel 4a 5G surfaced, but only in Black. Also, the 4a 5G version seems to have a smooth finish on the back panel.

Unlike the Pixel 5, which has a textured finish - that should make it grippy and resistant to fingerprints. Also note that the formerly flagship Pixel line now uses a common rear-mounted fingerprint reader.

The Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G will be unveiled on September 30 (next Wednesday). Both will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset and it seems that both will have the same camera setup. The notable difference will be in the display – the 5 is looking at a 6.0” 90 Hz OLED panel while the 4a 5G will have a slightly larger 6.2” 60 Hz panel.

Don’t even consider using this pixel 5 phone. I got the worse experience ever. Brand new phone got its screen break very easily and using some comments games , get hot and get stuck.

Why must everybody copy mint green from Apple. I personally think, there are better greens than this pale almost washed out Colour. I find it ugly but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
