24 September 2020
Mint was supposed to be an option for last year's Pixel 4, but that never happened.

Don’t even consider using this pixel 5 phone. I got the worse experience ever. Brand new phone got its screen break very easily and using some comments games , get hot and get stuck.

Why must everybody copy mint green from Apple. I personally think, there are better greens than this pale almost washed out Colour. I find it ugly but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Same, the pricing is just a bit off. 80€ cheaper maybe??
Or they will have some kind of killer feature not leaked yet

this is a perfect compact phone
          but their pricing sucks

It's so pretty. The bezels are amazing.
But it shouldn't cost more than 500€...

Look at that "ugly" finger print sensor.
Gosh Google did shame themselves in 2020.

I think the price is fine and a sensible stylish unit given a tight year for many. Its not as if its 1 or 1.2k. Its all about personal choice. I don't care that other phones better or worse are the similar price. Pixels in my usage are a terrific experience, bright, snappy, uncluttered, matt back, good photography and delightfully uncomplicated software. My Pixel 3 is brilliant, class in simplicity, always feels new and reliable as hell.

With Pixel 5 Google isn’t even trying with the hardware. Idk what could Google come up next year for Pixel 5a. Pixel 4a, 4a 5G and 5 are all very similar anyway.

Just bring back Nexus series phones back and let vendors like Samsung, LG, HTC and Huawei create hardware for you.

Motorola is the only company selling halfway decent midrange phones here. Google could definitely steal a lot of their userbase if they just focus on midrange phones especially now and not on flagships that most people aren't going to buy.

                                  Looks kinda ugly tbh.

Besides that the battery is a huge one. Never seen a bigger one in such a small form factor of phone. For 699$ with SD865 it would be a really great phone. So with SD765 better wait for a drop in price around 499 bucks or less.

Why in the hell do you even want a portrait camera? The Pixel and iPhones take better portrait photos without a portrait camera than other phones that have a dedicated protrait camera.

Which is a shame because their phones were never far away, they just had to make a few tweaks and stop pretending like they were Apple.
