Lava Agni 3 will feature dual display and customizable action key, price segment and key specs confirmed

Lava will unveil the Agni 3 on October 4 in India as a successor to the Agni 2 launched last year in May. Lava hasn't detailed the Agni 3's specs sheet yet, but it has confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by the Dimensity 7300X and feature a customizable Action Key.

A video teaser by Lava gave us a glimpse of the Agni 3, which is reminiscent of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. Its rear panel sports a triple camera setup headlined by a 50MP camera having OIS. The smartphone will also come with Dolby Atmos.

The Lava Agni 3 will be priced under INR30,000 ($360/€320), and in an interaction with Gadgets360, Lava's Product Head, Mr. Sumit Singh, revealed the Agni 3 will feature two screens - a 1.5K 120Hz curved AMOLED display on the front and a 1.74" secondary AMOLED display on the rear next to the camera module.

The secondary display will double up as a viewfinder for selfies with the primary camera, and you can also use it to answer calls, control music playback, and view notifications.

Additionally, Singh said the 50MP primary camera on the rear will be joined by a telephoto unit but didn't get into the specifics.

The Lava Agni 3 will be sold through Amazon.in in India. We'll know all about its specs, features, pricing, and availability on Friday.

Finally they moved on from that low-end Dimensity 7050. But the problem is, it's only like 20% better. I wouldn't even call it a mid-range phone.

mi 11 ultra is one of the beast till now. good to see their design still remains
