Ok guys.. here is my review after a week of using this device IRIS 406Q..
Ive looking for a device which should have minimum of 1GB RAM for past one month after several studies i got this device last week here is my opinion..
PROS:-
1.YES its 1 GB RAM which helps to multitasking and run any app flawlessly ..
2.Not an ips display but the display definitely not going to discourage you a wvga resolution with good view in daylight too..
3.The built up of this device is not so good but there is no any slippery
4.Sound quality is good for music play and headset experience is also ok..
5.Rear camera is ok at day light and not so bad in artificial lights too.. but this is not the device for camera freaks please note..
Front camera is ok for video call and takes some good pics too
6.The battery lasts up to 7 hrs for continuous 3g browsing will definitely stands for a day for moderate users..
7.call quality and network features are good no any
issues
8.The gaming experience also good i checked with few games you can find more about this in Youtube
NOW THE CONS:-
1.YES THERE IS AN ISSUE IN FONTS RENDERING.. "please note this lava care you have fix this in Your next OS update as all the users mentioning the same problem"
Its no only for hindi fonts.. all indic fonts may cause a forceclose whatsapp and even facebook sometimes
2.Charging via usb takes too much of time..
3.viewing angles are no so good
4.The default launcher sucks.. it totally make the user uncomfortable (USERS PLS SWITCH TO DODOL LAUNCHER ITS TOO GOOD)
so overall performance of this device is ok.. LAVA MUST LAUNCH THE KITKAT UPDATE so quickly.. it will fix the font rendering issue..
VERDICT:-
if you looking for an moderate device with all facilities there is only one other model Kaarbon S5 titanium plus available at market but the look and feel of iris 406 is good
At a price range of 7k this is a really good device with a dual cam, 1gb ram and a good processor
as all the problems mentioned by all this users will be gone once the KITKAT update arrives..
Now the choice is yours.. reviewers please ask the lava support for a quick OS update.. :-)

I am using this phone since one week. Few points I have notice.
Pros:-
1) Good configuration in under 7k.
Cons:-
1) Battery life is not good.
2) Mobile Back Panel built very low quality material. I change my mobile in flipkart as my mobile back panel is very loose.
3) All Android App which is using Hindi Fonts will be close unexpectedly . You will receive message like
Unfortunately, WhatsApp has Stopped
My all Hindi News app, and WhatsApp are crashing.
My true suggestion is. Dont Buy this phone..

lava gyz are trying to cheat us with kitkat update.... i brought this phone only because the guaranteed kitkat update ..im using 406q for a month till now no one got kitkat update...

After receiving whats app shows error "UNFORTUNATELY WHATS APP HAS STOPPED"
