kumar, 17 Aug 2014Friends... I wanna know whether this pnone works better or ... moreYa you are somewhat right .am not updated to kitkat yet .but my brother phone will updated to kitkat .after using the updated phone i feel that jellybean is more smoother on this phone .
1)with jb 4.2.2 this phone work like butter smooth .after kitkat update is also it is smooth but it not like before .also there is no much difference. When used with jb more ram is available around 600 mb free .but after update it reduced to 500 mb .
2)there is no pbm with the perfomance its best vfm
3 )the only concern is battery backup .its avarege (not that bad )

ravi, 17 Aug 2014lava x1 best or lava 504q+ plz tell me i m confused It depends on your budget .out of iris x1 and 504q+ defenitely 504q+ is best .but personally i suggest you iris pro 20 bcz its only 9999/- .the reason is that you are started love with your phone once you start using pro series .
Advantages of pro 20
1)its look and feel
2)exceptional battery back up
3)smooth operation
4)extra ordinary light weight
5)somebody says that it dont have kitkat update bla bla ..but personally i prefer jb .
6)somebody said that it has qhd display ,but its good enough we dont feel that its pixalated or something .
7)the camera is just okkayish
8) i prefer pro 20 over pro 30 is just bcz pro 20 has very good battery backup i think that is the most important thing that we neglect by run behind specs

Lava Iris 504Q+ camera is better than Moto G. Just set the 'automatically detect scene' option 'on'. And this phone takes amazing pics. Pics are great even in low light. For landscape pics do not use auto focus. Only use it for pointing an object/person. Following the above will give you the best possible pics with the best lighting output. I think this one is the second best cam as compared to any phone till 19k. Best is of Xolo Q1010i. The Sony BS sensor really helps a lot in low light. Better than all the Lumias upto 23k.

yes it surely has a tough glass. better than corning. cause my phone fell directly on d display and nothing happened. but rest of d stuff stopped working haha. cam is good xolo cam is better. vfm fone anyways.

yes that solved my caller ID problem thnx a lot.
however this phone now sucks after the kitkat update. it was much bettee with jellybean.
and guys the back cover is not of aluminium. lava has cheated. its juss a layr of paper coating which gives an aluminium like feel. the coating is now peeling off like paper. have u guys seen fake wood tables? paper with a printed wood texture applied over some cheap material. same way is out phone. they have coated some cheap material with this paper and make our eyes believe and claimed this to be a metal aluminium phone.
my phone fell from 4ft height. nothing happened to the display. however the coating I described above is now peeling off. and my sim2 and sd card slot dont work anymore. sim1 slot works sometimes and sometimes doesnt. phone was in a cover mind you. however for the price tag I wouldn't blame lava. its ok.

Lava after sales support and build quality is great unlike other Indian brands .highly recommended to those who are looking for a budget priced phone with good quality and after sales. I think this company should have all the eligibility to come on the top position globally .am using 504q+ now very happy to use such a premium handset .

gagan, 05 Aug 2014hi, i m using lava iris 504q+ from 28/7/2014. excellent mob... morelava iris 504q+ is best value added product. this is true value of money as per its features and HW specification. i have been using it from last five months and enjoying with full satisfaction. Pros
1)good build quality (9/10)
2)smooth touch (8/10)
3)good performance (8/10)
4)good quality box accessories.(8/10)
Cons
1)worst camera .hard to believe that its a 10 mp camera .images are quite noisy .exmor sensor is do nothing .over all very disappointing camera performance (3/10).(when you compare the camera with Samsung's 8 mp camera you feel the difference )
2)below average battery life ( 4/10 ).battery drains very fast when you use internet on your mobile
