Leaked case renders show the Galaxy A6 duo will have S9-like design
Case renders for the Samsung Galaxy A6 (2018) and Galaxy A6+ (2018) have surfaced and – surprise! - the Plus model has a dual camera.
Well, not that much of a surprise, the speculative CAD-based renders showed the same, but these are reportedly Samsung-made renders to show off the cases. They cases do not conceal much of the design, which is clearly lifted from the Galaxy S9 flagships.
This includes the Infinity Display (even if the top and bottom bezels are thicker), the fingerprint reader below the camera, even the 3.5 mm headphone jack at the bottom. We can’t find the loudspeaker, however, either it didn’t make it to the render or it’s in a new different position (what does that mean for the potential of stereo speakers?). Also, the port in the middle seems more like microUSB than USB-C, which would be unfortunate.
Samsung Galaxy A6+ (2018) • Samsung Galaxy A6 (2018)
The launch can’t be far, the phones recently appeared on Samsung.com and we even have preliminary info on the launch markets – Europe, Russia and the Middle East.
Despite the S9-like design of the Galaxy A6 (2018) duo, they will use more modest chipsets – Snapdragon 625 for the A6+ model and Exynos 7870 for the base A6. They will have 4 GB and 3 GB of RAM respectively.
