Leaked Galaxy S24 Ultra specs include a titanium frame, upgraded cameras and a Snapdragon chip

Every leakster is getting their two cents in when it comes to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and that is still months away. The latest is Yogesh Brar, who posted a list of key specs that corroborates previous reports on Samsung’s bar phone flagship (but also refute some).

The Ultra is expected to follow Apple’s lead in using a titanium frame. This won’t have a major impact on weight, in fact, the new model is expected to be 1g lighter at 233g. Of course this is a change from aluminum to titanium, while while the iPhone Pros will lose some weight since they are changing from heavier stainless steel.

We heard news that Exynos is making a comeback, but that seems to be a Galaxy S24/S24+ thing – the S24 Ultra is expected to exclusively use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (presumably the boosted “for Galaxy” version of it).

The display will be a 6.8” LTPO AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution. It may switch to a flat design and is reported to be super bright with a peak brightness of 2,200 nits (compared to 1,750 nits for the S23 Ultra). The bezels will be kind chunky, though.

There will be major upgrades to the rear camera, including a new 200MP sensor (HP25X). It will still measure 1/1.3” in size but will feature improved autofocus along with 4-in-1 and 16-in-1 pixel binning. On top of that, the 3x telephoto camera will get a new 50MP sensor (1/2.52”, 0.7µm pixels before binning, up from 10MP 1/3.52” sensor with 1.12µm pixels). The 12MP ultra wide and the 12MP selfie camera are not getting upgraded. The periscope module will stick to its 10MP sensor.

Also, it seems that the rumors of 65W charging will not pan out and the new Ultra will stick with the old 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging. Again, the S24 series won't be out until next year, so reliable rumors are a couple of months out.

You guys know that samsung uses ai to sharpen the photos, and edit the colors (just like any other company) and it doesn't just generate a photo and put it in the picture someone took right?

My S23 is fine with music just turn off atmos if you don't want exaggerated surround. As for camera Ai I only notice it in low light, with natural decent light its one of the best phone cameras to date.
