Leakster details iPhone Fold's display specs

Apple’s first foldable iPhone is expected to launch next year and according to a recent report will reportedly cost somewhere between $2,100 - $2,300. We now get more details on the device’s screens thanks to tipster yeux1122 who posted the details on Naver.

According to the post, the iPhone Fold will feature a 7.76-inch main display with a 2,713 x 1,920 px resolution. The panel will be equipped with an under-display camera which is what Samsung has been using on the Galaxy Z Fold lineup since the Z Fold3 days.

That shouldn’t come as a surprise given that Samsung is rumored to be the primary display supplier for Apple’s foldable. The main display is said to feature a crease-less design, which was a big priority for Apple.

The foldable iPhone will also get a 5.49-inch cover screen with a 2,088 x 1,422 px resolution. The front panel is said to feature a punch hole cutout for its selfie camera. These core specs were also previously confirmed by tipster Digital Chat Station earlier this week.

By the way, a previous leak from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the iPhone Fold will not feature Face ID and will instead get a Touch ID sensor integrated in the power button.
