Hotspot got problems: drains the battery completely under 2 hours & heats up till it auto shut down thereafter you have to wait till it cools down before it's workable. While charging you can't use it for long either, because it will heat up & auto shut down also. A1000 is only good for making voice calls, snap a few photos & surf a few websites. Other than these it is virtually good for nothing. This phone is not suitable for warm countries, may do well in Siberia or Antartica.

The 3.5mm jack can only be used to connect headphones. It won't work with external speakers or car aux input. If anyone knows a way around do let know

After enabling this option,whenever you dial any no. It will ask you select sim1 or sim2 for calling.

Good phone for the price. Battery backup is very good. Main camera OK, but front camera is just VGA and not good in low light. Good speed and responsiveness.

The only good thing about A1000 is its battery; claiming to be 2000mah, which makes the phone rather heavy. Other than this, its a dinosaur in present day. No proximity, poor GPS, heats up & auto shut down, slow response, inaccurate touchscreen when used with protective film or temper-glass. It's a good choice for kids, and for granny & grandpa! My mistake to buy it. Better off with a taiwanese BENQ T-3 or ASUS.

What's the use? Poor lock-on to GPS too. Good only as a back-up phone. Camera fixed focus, macro shots blurry. God help us!
