I bought my lenovo A5000 around October last year and I have been enjoying it since until February....I started noticing my call log took long to load and my contact list too. I ignored it. later, the phone kept telling me I had no more space in my memory and I needed to delete some apps to create some. I did dt and thought there shouldn't be any problem again. but since the beginning of this week, the phone has been a pain in the ass for me. it takes hours now to load it's contact and and call log. I check the memory and I see that it is zero. but I have not downloaded anything. I rebooted the phone and the memory became normal but after some times, it starts with the problem again. I am tired and frustrated with this . what can I do cos I am a big fan of lenovo and I feel disappointed with dis phone.

Been using this phone for two months and all I can say is that this is a total piece of junk. Worth 6k Php, yet it cannot keep up with my Cherry Mobile S4 which is actually 1k cheaper. 4000mAh but very poor in optimization, thus resulting to a very poor battery life. Wifi keeps getting disconnected at an average signal, while the CMS4 can hold on to a very weak one. Total piece of crap. Plus it's under Globe, the shittiest service provider here in the Philippines.

.do u have any idea..how can o use selfiestick to my lenovoa500..the selfiestick is set to volume as shutter but my phone don't have the option..is there any apps that can help me on this?

Hi friends,
Please don't by Lenovo mobiles. I'd like to share my experience, First 3 months there was no issues with this mobile. After I did system update this scrap doesn't receive any mobile network signal. Immediately I went to the service centre, there is no place to sit. I was standing there for more than an our and I got my chance to explain my issue with this mobile. they gave me a jobsheet and said it will take 10 days. During the wait time expect the new customers all the customers who came to take delivery was shouting like anything that the service was worst.
After 10 days I went to the service centre to take delivery of my mobile. Again half an hour I was waiting there to take delivery. I was shocked that my mobile touch was not working. Again I gave the mobile for service, same 10 days time. After one month period I went to the service centre to take delivery of my mobile. Still the issue was not yet resolved. The person in the reception told me that "you keep the mobile with you, after 10 days we will call you once the spare arrives", after 10 days there was no reply. No one is ready to pick the call at the service centre. I got irritated and I visit the service centre after 15 days. They replayed the touch but took 1 and half an hour to replace it. I came home and noticed that my front camera was not working. Again I visit the service centre to fix the issue. Again 10 days time, same reply like a recorder from the receptionist. It is almost 2 months over, but they are not able to fix it properly.
I'm frustrated and fed up with the service centre of Lenovo. Very very poor customer service from Lenovo. PLEASE DON'T BUY LENOVO MOBILES.

In my own oponion based on my experience with my lenovo a5000 running 5.0.2 lollipop still good battery back up, no lags or whatsoever the only main issue with the unit is the camera compared to others with 8mp rear cam, Good unit at all at cheap price :) oh by the way if you want to run smooth your unit while on ver 5.0.2 try to root with "KINGROOT" Hope it helps to others facing problems with the ver 5.0.2

Successfully rolled back to KitKat. No touch problem, otg is working, double tap to wake is working perfect.. If you want to flash it download it from 4pda.net.ru..(i think, i forgot the link) just search about it like i did... Version is S030...ill try to remember..

I cannot upload pictures to facebook or any site from lenovo A5000. It keeps saying ' cannot perform operation memory low' yet i have 1.1gb of storage and 296 mb of ram space left. Any help pls

Friends,
*This is initial guide for 5.0.2 lollipop users.
You are lucky if you're on KitKat version 🌹
But, those who are facing problems in lollipop version, make sure i.e
1.You've upgraded you phone to the latest update available in settings-about phone-system update
2. As lollipop version is disaster for A5000 😫, you must factory reset your phone after upgrading to the latest build number i.e "A5000_S124_151118_8G_ROW" it's the build number 😊
After this your A5000 should be bug less as mine is working smooth.
