I've experience this kind of phone. When i play games like zombie tsunami it always hang and will go back to home page. and sometimes i can't see the pictures from my mem/card in gallery, i need to restart my phone for how many times. Battery isn't that good too.. and if you're going to apply themes you downloaded this phone will not work properly it will become slow.

at first my phone always slow and laggy but when i flash to custom rom name AllegroRom it works smooth and fast i can play heavy games like RR3 GTA SA and NBA 2k13 with just a 512mb ram. you just need to root then flash a custom rom. i recommend AllegroRom the best and stable rom for this device i hope that there will be an official kitkat update for lenovo a516.

it is confusing, it is slow sometime everything will just disappear until u remove the battery and fix back before it will be ok

If i were you,never spend your money with this phone. You will suffer a lot. At first, everything was ok but as time past by.. it is losing its speed. it has only 512mb ram where only 37mb is only left when you are using an only one app. It is always lagging and going to app menu takes up to 15 seconds and opening an app takes 10 seconds,going back to home menu takes 10 seconds again (so in total,35 seconds of interrupted operations was wasted.) and takes many presses in the capacitive displays.its keyboard is a whore.and always lagging resulting to accidentally spelled words like the message is supposed to be "text" but it will be "53xT". i wish i informed you a lot.

My device suddenly didnt start, just lenovo screen appear, and it didnt boot, i tryed to format by pressing power & voice up botton but below massage appear
"Have been in factory mode, long press the power button and the normal boot"

I've had this phone for more than 6 months and I've regretted choosing it ever since I got it. I've had the OS reformatted (as recommended by my service provider) and the problem is the same: Delayed messages and multiple transmission of messages. I emailed the service center of lenovo and they never replie. Never again, never again. Lenovo sucks

i bought this fone from saudia
in saudia wifi was working very fine
but when i move to pakistan its not showing any wifi network i try restore i try hard reset i re install firmware but no luck

Wallpapers changes automatically after 2 or 3 days. Hanging problem. Battery backup is fine.
