Then stopped chrome and installed Opera Browser. Replace the Vibe UI with Google Now launcher (from Play Store). Its faster now.

I use Opera Browser which is smoother than Chrome. Still there is lag, but far better than before. Not sure about this but I felt that Vibe UI is one of the reason for the lag. I replaced it with Google Now launcher (you can get it in Play Store). It seems to be more faster than earlier. Find out which app causing your phone to hang and try not to use it. (Facebook seems to be little heavy but we can't live with out it. Can we?) Comment if it worked for you so that it will be helpful.

Using for 1.5 years and loved it. Sound, performance, battery.. wow..

Coming to solution for problems reported here.

Issue is the quick battery drain and heating.
Solution, Go to battery consumption. If media server consumers most, just delete videos with mkv format in ur phone. Or, update to lolipop. U can also try putting a nomedia file in the particular folder and restart.
Else, great battery backup, fluent working.
Not suitable for multitasking. Concentrate on single work. Example, Sending file with Xender or SHAREit in background and if u open any ram consumung apo, it hangs up until one work is get done.

Audio quality increased a lot and nice interface are only pros.
Solution for issues,
Hanging. Disabling Google photos, making WhatsApp, fb, messenger restrict to launch will avoid hang. But still not fast like KitKat. But usable.

U guys know that flashing stock ROMs is easy like eating a candy in this phone?
Go to droiddash blog and download lolipop or kitkat based ROMs and u can easily update or downgrade with stock recovery.
Fed up with laggy lolipop? Downgrade to kitkat.

Actually I bought lenovo a6000 new phone at oct 2015, but at dec 2015 itself my touch didn't the I done a service by warranty.
But from the start day itself my mobile getting hang, I don't know what to do.
Battery is not a problem when I turn off the mobile data, but if I turned on the battery gets down within 3 to 3 and half hours, if I saw videos even in offline the battery dead in before 3 hours
Whenever I turns on my mobile data my mobile hanged more
If I asked the customer care they didn't respond properly
Sometimes the mobile data didn't turn on by click on icon from the slide down menu on screen
Sometimes the enabled Bluetooth devices are not shown
The device is working very slowly even to load a contact, to see the last dialler , I have to wait for minimum of 2 to 4 minutes.
Simply said as lenovo a6000 is not fit for use, it just to keep on showcase
Guys don't think about a6000 at the same time I don't know about any other model u can check with others
I specified only about a6000 not any other

Its battery is easily drained and heat up quickly. Hangs up when mobile data is on.I regret buying this phone

I have this shit phone 6 months now. Bought new in mobile store. After 2 months it started to crash almost everything. It doesnt want to find wifi when its on. I am forced to restart it and then it finds wifi spot. I knew I was going to regret buying it, but I wasnt sure it will be that bad. Sorry for saying this, but this is bulls*** phone. Next time I would rather buy an used Samsung for that price or something else. Chinese bulls*** never again.
