user, 19 May 2015No man I am using a606 . it have 8mp back camera 2 mp front... moreActually Lenovo A606 came out with 2 version 512mb Ram and 1Gb Ram. Directd (Malaysia) is selling both model under the same model name.
Review: I bought this phone mainly to be used as 4G modem via hotspot, not as primary phone. Been using this phone since Nov 2014
Pros:
- cheap
- Hot spot stay connected even during a long standby & through out the night. No unwanted disconnection like some other phones
- can pick up 4G LTE signal better than ZTE 4G MiFi
- reasonable battery life for me (maybe because is a secondary phone for me)
- no issues with basic apps (Whatsapp, FB Messenger, Waze)
- playing MP4 movies with ease, no lag
Cons:
-lame camera
-speaker located at the back, hard to hear Waze/GPS instruction when placed on a phone holder
-screen light up suddenly for no reason, quite annoying when sleeping
-touch screen not so responsive especially during typing. Sometime different alphabet appeared from what's being typed
Summary: Its a good phone for basic usage

Guys , be careful when buying this phone ... if the phone box does not have a picture , therefore it has 512mb ram and 4GB ROM 5MP Back and VGA front.... If phone box has a picture , therefore its 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM , 8MP Back and 2MP front.. then also review the phone at the shop , if back cam has autofocus , therefore is 8MP back and 2MP front but if back cam got no autofocus , therefore its 5MP Back and VGA front .. Take note..

my lenovo a606 is 512ram and 4mp back cam!!!!!.....i think there s 2 version of this!!!!....the 8mp cam version has 1gig ram but is 3G. the 5mp camera version is in fact 4mp camera but sopport 4G!....now u tell me which one is better????

My A606 only got 512MB RAM and 5MP Back.. WHAT IS GOING ON !! Why is there two versions of these !!!

My Lenovo A606 - camera stopped working and it was saying can't connect to camera.
I just restart the phone in regular mode (put the fast boot mode off) and its working fine now.

i a using this phone sine month of january i din nt face any problem according to me thi phone s ry vey good in this price camera quality is very good it shows real color in pictures and video camer is to good hd quality superb regarding the files moving to sd card i have downloaded a file maneger ts name explore i always move my files to sd card through this file maneger all n all everything is very very good in the phone thanks to lenevo

why i cannot use my memory card..i have 16gb..when i put it and check the storage and click memory card its not functioning when i download i cannot put in memory card!!!
